The “PDFSigner Web” is a secured web based tool, which enables DNE Labs’ customers to Digitally Certify, while simultaneously adding, a visual reference to their PDF documents from the internet. To access and use the “PDFSigner Web”, click here.

The requirements are as follows:
  • Internet connection availability.
  • An internet browser.
  • Availability of the ExporTABLE Digital Certificate file (EXCLUDING CIAPR CUSTOMERS).
  • The PDF document to be Digitally Certified cannot be any bigger than 100 MB.

Yes. The “PDFSigner Web” also: Sends notifications to your personal e-mail account, informing when has the “PDFSigner Web” has been used to Digitally Certify a document. Requires a login process which asks for the DNE Labs’ account username and password. Asks for the Digital Certificate’s password every time a document is being processed. Seals the document, as part of the visual reference (FOR CIAPR AND CAAPPR COLLEGIATES ONLY). Gives the option to choose, which of the four corners do you want the visual reference to appear at. Offers the option of placing the visual referrence in the first page, last page, or in all pages. Optionally, allows to add notes regarding the location, and reason for Digitally Certifying the document. Has a simple interface, which is easy to use and understand.

No. The “PDFSigner Web” only Digitally Certifies PDF file format documents.

The “PDFSigner Application” is a platform based application which enables DNE Labs’ customers to Digitally Certify a document, and to simultaneously add a visual reference. This application is normally distributed with a USB Drive or made available through download to selected customers.

The requirements for Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 Operating Systems:
  • Have installed in your computer ” Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Standalone” (which includes “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile”, and “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended”). *Not required by Windows 8.

The other requirements are as follows:

  • Have ran the PFXConfigCreator application.
  • Availability of the Exportable Digital Certificate file (FOR CAAPPR CUSTOMERS).

Yes. The “PDFSigner Application” also:
  • Is a highly portable application, which can also be used from any portable memory hardware device, such as a USB Drive.
  • Allows the visual referrence to be placed in any of the four corners of the sheet.
  • Offers the opportinity to switch the visual referrence between a general information box or use an image, such as the seal.
  • Brings the freedom to choose which image, to be used as a visual referrence, when Digitally Certifying a document.
  • Has the availability of using, and identifying several image formats, including PNG.
  • Gives the option of placing the visual referrence in the first page, last page, or in all pages.
  • Requires entering the username and password everytime a document is being Digitally Certified.
  • Simplifies the Digital Certification process, by allowing the user to save the username and password when Digitally Certifying multiple documents.
  • Gives the option to choose, which of the four corners do you want the visual reference to appear at.
  • Optionally, allows to add notes regarding the location, and reason for Digitally Certifying the document.
  • Has a simple interface, which is easy to use and understand.

No. The “PDFSigner Application” only Digitally Certifies PDF file format documents.

The “PFXConfigCreator” is an installation and update tool for the PDFSigner Application, and the CertificateAccess programs

The requirements are as follows:
  • Internet connection availability.
  • Run from a Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 Operating System.
  • Have installed in your computer “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Standalone” (which includes “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile”, and “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended”).
  • Have installed the Digital Certificate in the computer (FOR CAAPPR CUSTOMERS).

Yes. The “PFXConfigCreator” also:
  • Creates a seal image with your name, the Board of Examiners’ (Department of State’s) professional lincese expiration date, professional license number, and professional license TYPE (FOR CIAPR COLLEGIATES ONLY).
  • Requires a login process which asks for the DNE Labs’ account username and password.
  • Has a simple interface, which is easy to use and understand.
  • Enables the use of the PDFSigner Application and the CertificateAccess programs

The “CertificateAccess” program is a protection layer added to PFX files, which requires typing the correct username, password, and PIN, in order to grant access to the installation process for the contained PFX file (or Digital Certificate).

The requirements are as follows:
  • Run from a Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 Operating System.
  • Have installed in your computer ” Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Standalone” (which includes “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile”, and “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended”).
  • Have ran the PFXConfigCreator application.

No. The “CertificateAccess” program is only a protection shell that restricts the installation of the Digital Certificate, and it should not be mistaken for a Digital Certification tool.
